these years i lived
these countless times i dealt
the yearn of dawn
the lives I've touched
the people i befriend
the moments we shared
apart from mistakes
away from fear
desires are unlimited
lust and temptation
although i tried
then again i failed
but here i stand
up by my own feet
optimistic yet cunning
patience and wise
settling on faith
but when discovered
the fowl truth it is
hopeless to pursue
died by empty air
shall i never to go forth
